Freshman's in college are considered to be "under-dogs" and they are more than likely to do anything to fit in to the norm. Drugs in our society have always been a big debate on "if you don't use it, you're not cool" type of motto. I have friends that I am around that enjoy smoking cigarettes, pot, and drink alcohol. Although, back home, I have a lot of friends that constantly do drugs such as ecstasy pills. Personally, I have never tried the "pill" because I heard bad things such as losing brain cells. I have never liked cigarettes because I never liked the way they smelled.

I feel the same way about cigarettes. Some of my friends smoked, and had a really hard time quitting. I'm glad I didn't have to do that.
One caution -- you might not want to have info about pot use on your blog. Now that I've read this and recorded a grade for you, consider deleting that part.
