Circus Victims Unit

I attended the Company One Presents CSI:CVU (Circus Victims Unit) today, November 13, 2008 at 7 pm in the Spartan Complex Dance Theatre room 219. This play was very interesting. I went to this performance because my roommate was recommending me to go. She was saying that it was a ballet recital, but it turned out to be a musical dance presentation. It kept me entertained. It was about two sets of groups, the CSI police people, and the CVU, Circus performers that were considered to be the victims. It all started when they found a red nose on the ground and immediately resulted to a clown that was murdered. The CSI officials instantly started questioning the circus performers. This performance included musical songs from Broadway plays such as Pirelli's Elixir, from Sweeney Todd, Steppin' to the Bad Side, from Dreamgirls, and Whipped, from Legally Blonde. They took original songs but added a little twist to it. It was amazing what they did with little props. All they had was caution tape, the red nose, little stools, and of course, themselves. There is a sequel to this performance which will be showing later in April, I will gladly attend because this performance was amazing.
